now is really the period where one is expected to be able to multitask, and do well in every single thing. from group project report and presentation, essay submission, final exams, and last but not least: applying for jobs.

it’s quite an interesting process, i’d say, but a pretty painful and exhausting one(both mentally and physically). Nevertheless, I always have that satisfied feeling whenever I am done with an application (essays, cover letter, and what have you) and submit them! :D

waiting for the results, going for interviews and various online assessment tests are another thing. Not mentioning all the rejection emails that you get. haha

It might be an indicator of one’s position….or intelligence level or whatever.

But i would rather see it from another point. I do get disappointed when I get rejected, especially if it’s still the first round! But i guess that would simply indicate that I’m not suitable for that company. and as long as i’ve done my best for the application, I have nothing to regret (: I believe something even better has already been prepared for me. It might not go according my wish, but it is definitely better than what i wish for.

my first run ever! one of those random personal achievement this year (or in my life) *pat on the head* yaayy :D

a few months ago, if you offered me some money for me to run, it wont happen! But i have no idea what made me join this nike run. I guess because many of my friends signed up for it too, and it’s alot more fun when you do it with your friends.

for the record, i have never run more than 3.3ish km in my life before i signed up for this thing… (and it was also because I had to do for my school’s cross country -.-) ohwells…

anyway, it was quite a fun run… first 5k i managed to JOG nonstop…and the second half was really jog-walk-jog-walk-water point-jog-walk-water point-walk-walk-jog-jog :P But really, the most tiring part was to find your way through other people who were strolllinggg… or being bumped by people overtaking you.. it was extremely packed!!!

Maybe I should start running more…or at least exercise more. For health reason, and nothing else. we’ll see haha

I never aimed to be the top 1000 or anything (20,000 ppl signed up for this event). I had my personal timing target and I don’t want to compare with anyone, coz it doesn’t matter how fast the others go, really. I have my own pace and tried to keep to that pace (:

in the end, my timing is 1 hr 26ish minutes (: sliigghtttly below my target of 1,5 hour! YAAYY! Whatever you may think or judge me (how slow it still is or whatnots) … i dont care :D
